Week 3 (3/11/2017 – 3/17/2017) 1.8 Pounds Lost

Well, I’d call this week an ugly win. I still lost weight (1.8 pounds), but I made some mistakes with my eating.
I chowed down on beef jerky thinking it was keto friendly. Beef jerky CAN be keto friendly, but you probably won’t find the good stuff at your local Walmart. The Jerky I ate had sugar as its second ingredient, and I definitely ate enough to knock myself out of ketosis. But, drinking the Keto OS drink mixes helped get me back into ketosis quickly.
I also felt satiated after eating my keto meals. But, before I went keto, feeling satiated wasn’t a signal for me to stop eating. I’m working on kicking this habit of overeating. My body felt great after the first helping of Corned Beef and Cabbage that Kelli made for St. Patrick’s day: there was no reason for me to take another plate.
So yes, I did lose weight this week. But, I’ll be fixing these things in order to get the best results from a keto diet.
