With both my Anniversary and Memorial Day happening on the same weekend, I got a little off track. I weighed myself the Friday before Memorial Day weekend just to see how much wiggle room I’d have with my diet. At the time, I weighed 294, so I thought I was set to have a fun weekend of “cheat eating”. I ordered the 8 oz filet with ribs and washed it down with a Diet Coke 😬. Kelli and I then caught a 9:00 movie, and I actually ordered popcorn. I had water with my popcorn, so I thought I was doing pretty well.
On Memorial Day, Kelli’s sister invited us over for an awesome barbecue. I had a couple of bun-less burgers and splurged a little eating some ice cream. I felt pretty good going into my weigh in after the weekend of “riotous eating”. At least, I didn’t feel like I ate too badly.
For the reporting week, I had a one pound net gain. But the two pounds I had lost at the beginning of the week were back plus another pound 😬 This past week, I was determined to get back on track. I lost 3 pounds, and the weight loss put me to 51 pounds lost in 14 weeks.
250 pounds…..here we come!!!!
