Week 11 (5/9/2017 – 5/15/2017) 1 pound lost
- Weight: 298.2 lbs (down 1 pound)
- Body Fat%: 37.5% (down 0.1%)
- Body Mass Index: 37.27 (down 0.12)
I’ve made it under 300 pounds now, but my milestone was actually 299. After Kelli entered my measurements from my 5/1-5/8 week, I was still .2 pounds away from hitting 299 pounds :-/. No worries though. My weight and my health are heading in the right direction. This past week, I did a preliminary weigh in on Friday just to see how intense my Saturday run needed to be :). I weighed in at 297, so I got a little cocky/lax with my weekend routine.
We went to Cafe Rio, and I got the steak salad with extra steak and side order of queso. Normally, I eat the salad without touching the tortilla shell. This time though, I ate about half the tortilla. Sunday was Mother’s Day, so I made a huge breakfast (bacon, eggs, & waffles) for the family. I didn’t have any waffles, but I had a pretty large helping of eggs. Dinner was a cheeseburger, hot dog, and chicken barbecue with corn on the cob and grilled asparagus. I had my open-faced cheeseburger and a half piece of bbq chicken along with corn and asparagus. For a Mother’s Day dessert, I made the pound cake and whip cream for strawberry shortcake. The family had the strawberry shortcake, while I enjoyed the whipped cream and strawberries for a treat.
My weekend of being not so strict was awesome :). It cost me a little over a pound, but I still netted a one-pound weight loss for the week. I’m now under my first milestone weight of 299, so my goal has reset to 250 pounds. The keto diet, Pruvit’s Keto Drink mixes, and a regular exercise routine have been a great combination for me. I have tons more energy, and I feel great! Although, I should be in bed right now getting the proper amount of sleep 🙂
